Services
They are practical and durable in that they have better wear and stain resistance than wood and vinyl. They can be installed as a floating floor over most existing floors. You will avoid costly, tedious subfloor preparation / removal of existing flooring (except carpeting). Laminates are suited for every room of the home -even the bath (most manufacturers)- and radiant heated floors.
Carpet can offer more versatility, comfort, ease of maintenance and health benefits than other flooring options. Here are some general terms for understanding how carpet is made and how to judge carpet quality. During carpet manufacturing, natural or synthetic fiber is converted to yarn and tufted, or locked into a backing to form the pile or surface that you walk on.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience using Floors Modern. We were in need of replacing all the carpeting on the top floor of our house and fortunately for us, our painter/contractor referred us to Floors Modern. From the beginning to the end, the entire process was handled professionally and smoothly. Our sales rep Nigel, who was an absolutely wonderful man and a pleasure to speak to, came over in person to do a full inspection and presented us with different options. The second time was to book our floor install because, as it turned out, they were not the most expensive at all. In fact, they had the floor we WANTED at the price we NEEDED.

I couldn’t be happier to recommend Nigel and the team at Floors Modern. From the outset Nigel worked with me to pick out beautiful vinyl plank flooring, decide on extras (help with moving furniture, installing baseboards, caulking), provided an accurate estimate for installation, and made everything happen extremely fast. Nigel’s communication was excellent, the quality of work was beautiful, and the installers were exceptionally efficient and professional. 5/5 stars!

Nigel Rogers was very helpful from the get go. He walked us through the pros & cons of all types of flooring We set up a home visit for a estimate & he arrived promptly We had many hurdles with our strata but Nigel overcame all with his professionalism. We can’t say enough about the outstanding service we received from Floors Modern in general but most particularly, from their sales rep John Gillespie. John redefined the meaning of “Customer Service” for us. His hands on involvement through our purchase and installation was more than we could have asked for and made the entire process easy and enjoyable. I don't know where I would be right now if I hadn't called Floors Modern in November. I had a lot of damage in my condo that needed to be repaired. The ceilings and walls needed repair and repaint, and my laminate floors needed to be ripped out and replaced. My insurance company wanted to move me out for 2-4 months, but I just couldn't do that. I took a payout and started looking for my own contractor, one who would do the repairs in 2-3 weeks while I stayed in a hotel. I eventually signed a contract with a contractor who took my $7500 deposit and then started waffling on the scope

I visited a few flooring stores to search for the perfect vinyl plank floor. I encountered Nigel here who was helpful and fair with the quote. There was a 3 month delay between the first and second phase of install and Nigel was very patient and communicative throughout.
One of the installers they sent, Alex, was professional and meticulous. I'm very happy with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Had them do my flooring - both restoration and kitchen renovation in my apartment. Very professional and friendly! Took the time to ensure that I made the right decision for my flooring based on my preferences and likes. Very very efficient was in and out within 2-3 weeks and very accomodating when I had an unexpected and unpleasant surprise of needing to do some plumbing work on the day the flooring was supposed to go down. They rescheduled it right away and always followed up to ensure that they meet my expectations. Well the exceeded it for sure! Would use them again and definitely recommend

A few months ago, I went here to enquire about flooring for a condo. Although I was the only customer in the shop, I had to wait a while for anyone to offer help. I then booked an appointment for someone to come to the condo to give me a better idea. No one showed up, nor did anyone call me. I decided to put off flooring for a while.

All that said, the reason that I'm giving such an excellent review is the integrity of their people. Without going into details, there was a last-minute hiccup with part of our deal with them that they easily could've tried to squirm out of. Instead, they stood by their word and showed real integrity. That is a rare commodity these days and deserves an excellent review.
