We have been serving the Oceanside area on Central Vancouver Island since 1983. We are a licensed custom home and home renovation company, specializing in residential, light commercial and agricultural buildings. Charlie and his team were a pleasure to work with. Our project was completed, on time, under budget with very few issues, if any.

The finishing detail in our home is second to none. Charlie mentored his team through the build of a large timber frame deck cover on our new home. My husband and I would recommend Pickard Construction to anyone considering a new home build or renovation.

This incredible house will be home to a family of three generations, who will share their property with horses, kitties and cows. The forest surrounding the property makes for a lot of privacy, while the breathtaking ocean and mountain views still create a feeling of openness. In the interior, we especially love the owners choice of cabinet colors in both the kitchen and the bathroom, matching the beautiful ocean view.

Interesting project from start to finish. This beautiful home is perfectly positioned to take advantage of breathtaking ocean views. One focal point is looking out across the bay to see the lighthouse on beautiful Chrome Island. The home first began as a spec home for a client. The project created great interest with many people dropping by to take a look.
