Granite is a beautiful and durable option for kitchen countertops, among other uses. This natural stone has a medium to coarse grained texture and varies in colour. Being made up of quartz, biotite and feldspar, granite is very hard and is resistant to chemicals and abrasion, making it easy to clean and maintain.
Marble has been used since ancient times in architecture and sculpture, its name meaning to gleam or sparkle in Greek. It is a metamorphic rock containing calcite or dolomite in high concentrations with many coloured varieties available. The different colours depend on mineral impurities in the material, with clay, iron oxides, sand and silt creating the beautiful veined patterns running through the marble.
Dekton is a relatively new material on the market, but it is gaining popularity fast. So far, only the most up to date and fashion forward installers and suppliers offer dekton as a countertop material. However, the versatility of this material makes it useful for many other things including flooring, bathrooms, siding and facades.

Stone was installed ahead of schedule (incredible). Installers were respectful, courteous and professional. Had Hanstone Mantauk installed.. Looks amazing and installation was flawless. Peter is a no-nonsense honest guy who cares about his business and will do whatever he can to ensure a happy customer is a returning client.
Our renovation happened during COVID restrictions and well into the busy winter holiday season, and despite all challenges it was completed earlier than estimated thanks to everyone's concerted efforts.
Great interactions with Peter, his store staff, template specialist and install team - all very professional, polite and accommodating

I happened upon Crown Marble & Granite quite by accident the day I picked up my backsplash tiles across the street. Went inside just to get an idea and immediately went nuts for a gorgeous slab of graphite that jumped up and bit me in the you-know-what. Here is it installed and with my new backsplash. I love the look of my kitchen now. Crown's after sales customer service is also excellent. I'm sure I'll be happy for years to come. Thanks Weshna, Al and everyone at Crown!

So basically took our money. Took 3-4 weeks longer than they said it would then rushed to finish when i threatened to cancel. The quartz counter top is faulty. Its quartz yet stains with coffee, tea, beet juice, even a rubber bottomed strainer stained it. Took them 10 weeks (and 3 no shows) to send a labourer out with Ajax and bleach to scrub away on the counter top then proceeded to tell me all white quartz stains easy. That's been it from them. We're still fighting and considering legal action
