FERO Thermal Tie Masonry Connectors are completely customizable for any size wall cavity. We have designed and engineered products for all types of back-up walls, veneers and construction tolerances. Thermal bridging caused by conventionally installed steel shelf angles profoundly affects the energy efficiency of your wall system, limiting the effectiveness of insulation by over 50%.
FAST THERMAL BRACKET offset shelf angle support ("FAST Thermal Bracket") is our proprietary structural, thermally-broken shelf angle support system, allowing for continuous insulation behind the shelf angle. This system offsets the shelf angle from the structural backing and positions the shelf angle to remain fully outboard of the insulation.
FERO Break-Away Fire-Release Connectors allow roof and floor collapse without compromising the firewall's integrity. The 2021 IBC, section 706.2, requires that fire walls have sufficient stability under fire conditions to withstand collapse of construction on either side without collapse of the wall.
