They don't want business. I called over a month ago to get a quote and someone came and advised that the quote would be sent by email. After a few weeks, I called to follow up and was given a "ball park" number and told the official quote would follow. A week or so after, I went in to their office in person as I had not received a quote. The reception did not have a quote and advised that they would have Jamie look into it. It's been several weeks since then, I have called twice and both times I was told Jamie would call me right back. I have not heard back from Jamie or anyone from Blouin. I guess

The team that did the actual insulating was great, very professional and did a great job. I couldn't be happier with that part, but it wasn't a complicated job.
No follow up to see if I was satisfied, they billed my credit card almost right away and had to chase them for weeks to get a copy of my invoice. Great work until they get your money and then its like you were never a customer of yours, terrible after the sale professionalism.

I was told on the phone while making my appointment for snow removal that I would get a phone call the day of my appointment just prior to the guys arriving so I could let them know where to put the snow. They never called and their footsteps on my roof woke me up. They dumped snow on my furnace vent and in front of my back yard. I had to shovel out a path for my dog and then I had to climb through 10 feet of snow to clean out my furnace vent. They left without ever talking to me anfld then emailed me an invoice for much more than I was quoted. When I mentioned the discrepancy on the phone afterwards

Blouin installed blown-in insulation above asbestos containing vermiculite insulation. The work by Blouin was unprofessional and very dangerous to the health of our family and their employees. Blouin's quote was cheap, but the company cut corners on safety and quality. We feel let down by their practices, and their behaviour afterwards. Ultimately, we had to hire another company to remove and reinstall the insulation. We highly do not recommend this company.

Blouin Brothers are experts in their domain and are very approachable and friendly. Their business is their passion and this is reflected in every aspect of how they operate. They’ve done lots of work in our home including duct work and HRV work and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC and insulation services. It's nice to hire a family owned business because you can really sense that they care about the job at hand and that they take pride in servicing you right.
