Bunch Welding / Bunch Projects has been completing oilfield construction projects in Western Canada since 1981. We currently have over 300 apprentices including welders, pipe fitters, iron workers and carpenters along with our fleet of oilfield construction equipment. Bunch is certified for oil and gas construction across Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.
Bunch has looked inwards and determined that innovation is lowest hanging fruit within Alberta's energy sector to bring costs down on a sustainable basis. Automation is a solution that will keep Canada competitive by providing clients with high quality products, that are safer to make, and that will remain cost effective on a sustainable go-forward basis regardless of labour market tightness.
Bunch's oilfield equipment is managed and maintained through our asset management group. We currently have two separate mechanic shops at our Bunch Clearwater Fabrication Facility to service all of our oilfield equipment, in addition to an equipment warehouse and fenced yard. Each piece of our oilfield equipment inventory is itemized and properly maintained to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose when required on site.
We are continually reviewing our quality management system and looking at ways to enhance and improve. Bunch has taken the initiative and has recently resigned our quality program to align ourselves with ISO 9001. Bunch's quality management system meets the requirements of, and has been certified by, the Alberta Boiler Safety Authority (ABSA), British Columbia Safety Authority, Saskatchewan Safety Authority, and Manitoba Labour and Immigration.
