At the age of 41, the Founding President, Hector J. Gauthier and his wife decided to defy everything by starting a glazing business. The mandate will be to provide residential and commercial maintenance and repairs to the local and regional community by offering a variety of glazing services.
Armed with the courage and determination of his parents, he modifies the mandate by including the sale and the installation of residential doors and windows but mostly the sale, the production and the installation of products for industrial, commercial and institutional fenestrations (ICI).
Supported by his staff and his suppliers (Kawneer and Prevost), Vitrerie Gauthier Glass Ltd has earned a reputation of respect, commitment, punctuality and dedication towards its customers.Licensed and recognized by the unionized authorities of Quebec and Ontario (ICI), the region served by VGL has now expanded to serve Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec (Toronto to Quebec City).

My husband and I got our front window from this business we only have praise for there expertise the employees are excellent they really did a fabulous job they are curtious and very cautious they make sure that everything is well covered and make sure that after they are done installing the window everything is cleaned up so a big thumbs-up 👍 to this professional business we want to replace other windows and they are the place we will definitely go again great great fabulous employees so again a big thumbs up 👍 to them.We recommend them highly 👌.

We had about $20,000 worth of windows and doors replaced on our house by Gauthier Glass and their knowledge, workmanship, and reliability have all been top notch. We really felt like they were working with us to make us as happy as possible.
A warranty issue with some of the thermopanes was handled quickly and very professionally, and I feel they really back their products. We even went to them when we had a problem with a door installed by another company, and they very quickly sorted it out for us.
