Services
Counter Corner was started by Howard Walsh, in 1986 with his brother Paul. The original plant was located on Portugal Cove Rd in St. John's, NL and was approximately 600 sq.ft. At the start, there was only one employee (Howard). The available product at this time was Post Form Counter Tops. In 1991 Counter Corner moved to Pippy Place in St. John's, NL and was approximately 2500 sq.ft.
Dupont Corian is one of the easiest, lightest and user-friendly materials out there. Being mainly acrylic with natural particulates, this product gives you seamless and almost invisible joins. Like a fine wood, Corian can be routed, cut, sculpted and bent making this the perfect product for rounded projects such as contemporary reception desks, tub surrounds, islands, and sinks.
Granite is one of the most beautiful natural stones that comes from our Earth. Extracted from mountains from all over the world, we are able to get some of the most intricate colours to give your kitchen or bathroom that "WOW" factor that you're looking for. Granite is composed of quartz, feldspar, and micacrystals that have been fused together by Mother Nature over thousands of years.
Here at Counter Corner Ltd., we are able to supply doors, panels, drawer fronts, toe kicks, and now even decorative panels using Belanger's Thermoplastic and Polyester line. There is a wide variety of both colours and styles to choose from, making this product perfect for modern, contemporary and even traditional kitchens and bathrooms.
Butcher Block countertops are a perfect melding of beauty and function. Belanger Butcher Block is now available in 3 new all-natural woods - Walnut, Cherry, & Oak. Acer, the scientific name of the maple family, means hard or sharp. The Romans used European maple for pikes and lances as well as for tables and other furniture.

Absolutely horrendous. We ordered countertops in the fall for a kitchen reno. Kitchen reno was finished but we were stuck waiting on countertops. They were delayed over and over. Pushing late November we are still being re-assured that they will be there in time. No need for a refund or to try another company. Finally in early December, while on a family trip we're stuck on the phone with counter corner daily trying to get an answer. We ended up re-ordering the countertops from a second company (those arrive within 2 weeks). After all the run-arounds, disrespectful behaviour and then finally having
