I'm Dale and I love what I do. I love it because I enjoy building things that look good, last well and bring satisfaction for years to come. I love it because I get a chance to exercise my creative flair in constructing unique decks and fences that perfectly match the customer's needs. And I love it because I care about people and along the way I get to meet some really great customers.
As you can see from the photos, I love to bring creativity and variety into play when designing a deck. Some customers have a design in mind and I simply offer suggestions of ways that the design can be tweaked to improve looks and functionality. Other customers look to me to provide the design to fit their space.
Do you use treated wood? Yes, I use all treated wood and in addition to that I brush every cut edge with preservative. Do I have to paint or stain treated wood? Yes, you should. The preservative prevents rot and mildew but it does not prevent the wood from turning gray in the sun or from developing cracks as the wood dries over time.
