Services
Delmar Woodcraft was established in 1978 by Detlev Friese who started his career by making small wooden home decor pieces and began to craft furniture shortly thereafter, believing in building hand-crafted custom furniture the old fashion way, one piece at a time, and according to tried and true craftsmanship.
We use a variety of stains and water-based paints, including eco-friendly zero VOC milk paint for that antique-like authentic look. Our lacquers are also water-based for a clean and refined finish. We are experienced in creating antique reproduction Canadian-style pieces with a museum finish whereby the wearing and distressing of each piece imitates the test and impact of time.
Less than one hour from Toronto, the lovely drive to visit us in Cambridge is well worth it! From 401 West Toronto, take the Hwy24/Hespeler Road Exit and drive south to Coronation Boulevard/Hwy8. Turn RIGHT on Coronation Boulevard, do a U-TURN at the 4th boulevard break and you will find us on your right at 586 Coronation Boulevard.
