One of the worst basement contractors. They were recommended to me by a friend they were really good before and new management has taken over since the pandemic, now they They will try to ask for ever penny for simple stuff that they said would be in the contract. Even if they offer you a good deal I wouldn’t go with them they will lie cheat and scam. They have fake reviews to give them good ratings don’t go by homestars

My basement was built by Harmony in May 2018, yes.. TWO years ago and I am writing a review now, two years later. My reason for writing a review two years later is because during my time, I have worked with a lot of trades people and often I find that most trades like to do their work and quickly move on to the next job, not giving a care about the job they just completed. These companies don't stand by their final product, they will make it look good for the first few months and after that when a few items go wrong, they don't care to come back and fix it. Very disappointed with the whole basement renovation. Poor lack of vision, terrible project management, poor workmanship by most of their contractors (drywallers, painters, flooring, plumbers). For the money I paid I was expecting better quality products and attention to detail. We had to pay for a lot of upgrades just to get some quality products installed. I would advise anyone who is thinking of using this company for basement renovation to be home during the entire renovation process as you will need to keep a close eye on the workmanship of the contractors. RESPONSE TO OWNER:
1. At no time did I warn or threaten a negative review if damages were not fixed.
2. Why would I contact and expect you to fix the smaller issues that weren't fixed when they were pointed out in the final inspection?
3. As I clearly stated in my original review, the shower leak was behind the drywall. As such, there was no indication of the leak until the mould worked its way through the baseboards.
4. A plumber confirmed

These guys are seriously committed to do a good job maintaining direct and constant communication with us throught the project.
Harmony Basements have met our expectations. They have done a good job.
Our first meeting with Claudio and Diego went well we knew right away after they told us and explained the process we knew they knew what they were doing.
We had all the options explained to us and how the company operates.
The material selections was done quick and easy in the decor studio located in Woodbridge at the their main office

Our experience with Harmony Basement's finishing of our basement including a bathroom was very positive. We found the contractors were very hard working and reliable, showing up on time and cleaning up daily. Claudio, the supervisor always listened to our concerns during the process and took action. Diego's was a great help in designing the layout. The drywall finishing and painting were simply outstanding and George was a "workhorse" with the long hours he worked on site to complete the framing and drywall installation. The project was completed on time. We are extremely satisfied with the results

Just had my basement done and I am very pleased with the quality and professionalism of work. Project manager Claudio is a good man. He was very easy to communicate with. He kept us current with job status and everything was done as per schedule.He went out his way to please, doing some extra things at no cost and with no hassle. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I am so pleased with my basement renovation by Harmony Basements. The difference between my original 1960’s style to my chosen upgrades and new bathroom is such a welcome improvement thanks to my knowledgeable salesman, DIEGO, all the various trades people and follow-up by CLAUDIO from customer service. Harmony finished our basement in mid-Sept 2017. Overall a pretty great job but it was 4 weeks delayed and there were minor workflow issues. I would still recommend them. The materials are top notch and my basement is toasty warm. Our family now has an extra 1000 sq ft of useable, functional living space. I have a more thorough review on Homestars. Give them a call and see what they can do for you!

Made an appointment for 10am previous Saturday. Called at 10:15 after no one had arrived or touched base. Woman on phone said didn't know if they had an appointment and couldn't access the books. Called back at 2 after still it hearing anything and was meet with "someone will touch base Monday"
