I had a fireplace that would not stay lit when transitioning from 'pilot' to 'on.' I made the mistake of calling another HVAC company to take a look only to have them pivot to 'diagnostics services' .. and a recommendation that the starter needs to be replaced. Never one to make the same mistake twice I reached out to Mr Heat Mechanical who had installed a whole Home Humidifier years back.
I sent pictures and we agreed upon a price. Today the technician came through removed the screen and glass.. and within seconds diagnosed a melted thermocouple and a faulty starter requiring a replacement kit

We had a problem with our Air conditioner unit at a residential unit. Water used to leak when we ran the air conditioner. When called this company, they were prompt and diagnosed the problem in few minutes. The problem was resolved by installing a new Evaporator unit for Air conditioner. We are very impressed by their thorough knowledge, expertise and experience. They performed the job to the perfection and their services are definitely worth utilizing.

I was quoted over $4000 repair job over a part that is not covered by the protection plan with "Enercare". Feeling suspiciously about the quote, I called Mr. Heat for a second opinion. Nima showed up within a couple of hours, inspected the unit and found "Enercare" quote was all wrong. I went through a dispute process with Enercare but I gave up after wasting a few more days. I had to call Mr. Heat again to have the unit fixed. I filed a formal complaint to Enercare and waiting for their response. Mr. Heat would be my "to go" when it comes to any AC repairs from now on. I’ll keep this review simple. Our gas fireplace hasn’t been used in years and required inspection as it would not flame up properly. Called Mr Heat Mechanical, sent out a tech and repaired the issue - spiderwebs and a whole lot of them. Nima put his skills to work and had the fireplace up and running in minutes. He then prescribed good maintenance guidelines and practices.

Fireplace company come and they were not able to fix it and failed to call back as promised. I reached out to Mr Heat at the suggestion of a neighbour and was very impressed. They responded to my email on a Sunday,set something up for the Tuesday in a timely manner. Nima was confident he could fix it. Without fuss he diagnosed the problem and within 30 minutes it was fixed and working.

We had a problem with our gas fireplace. We called a few technicians in the past and were not very happy. After some research we decided to call Mr. Heat. Nima was at our house the next day. He was very thorough and explained everything. He was very professional and honest and the cost to fix it was better than some other quotes we had gotten. The technician promptly arrived and quickly assessed the situation. He immediately identified the problem was my humidifier attached to the furnace and not the furnace. I greatly appreciated his professionalism and honesty. He refused payment for the quick visit. I will most certainly contact him again when I need maintenance, repairs or a new furnace.
