While valet parking is temporarily suspended and no customer parking in front of the restaurant, there is complimentary parking in stalls 66-88 at the WestPark Parkade-near the entrance to Menchions Mews-at 1675 Bayshore Drive. No ticket is required to be purchased though be sure to check in with the Host to validate your stall and license plate number.

Came here for the first time and had a good time! The ambiance was not as upscale and trendy as I had expected, to be honest. Rather, the restaurant has a warm and welcoming diner feel, with stunning, floor-to-ceiling waterfront views of the harbour and mountains. The service was great! From the hostess to our server—everyone was really friendly, smiley, and efficient, which made our experience that much more enjoyable. We ordered the Coal Harbour Breakfast, the Crab Cake Benny, and the Bakery Basket. Everything was super fresh, well-seasoned, and very tasty! Would definitely come back again

I've been to lift probably after two years or so. We had a bottle of wine, some appetizers and main dishes. I had the salmon.
Service was ok that day compared to my previous visits. I felt like the quality of the food and service went down a little. I’m not sure exactly why I felt like it. The restaurant was pretty empty for lunch.
I always like lift so I will go back for sure. I don’t think I like the restaurant as before.

Well this was the first time I ever had something to eat hear.
We could have picked a better evening but it was our 20th anniversary November 11th.
The wind and hard rain stopped after about a 1/2 hour and we were on the top floor which is enclosed at winter with a very nice roof and clear plastic . The top floor also has many heaters and cool lighting with a large fire table at one end.
The restaurant has been in this same location for 17 years just west of the bayshore inn and lots of underground free parking several hundred feet before the entrance to the restaurant.

Came here for a friend's birthday and we were seated on the upstairs roof patio - very beautiful view! Menu is quite extensive so it's easy to find something for everyone, whether you're vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, gluten free, etc. I ordered the halibut, which is cooked differently every day. Halibut was a little dry in some areas, but plating was nice. Mussels were big portions and burrata with the fig was tasty. Food is slightly pricier but you are paying for the location.
Big plus for free parking in a nearby parkade as well.

I had a wonderful seafood dinner with beautiful water views and excellent service. During the COVID social distancing, I found the atmosphere much more quiet than I have previously experienced at Lift Bar, but I kinda liked it to be honest; peaceful and relaxing.
Our meal started with some very fresh Humbolt squid; lightly breaded, cooked to perfection and served with a side of lime tzaziki dip; highly addictive! It disappeared pretty quickly and so I do not have a picture lol. We also ordered the Burrata salad with figs, which was not really a salad, but an enjoyable appitizer all the same.

This place gets a 5/5 for me, seriously. I was very happy with my dinner there.
My girlfriend and I came in on a random Sunday night. It was too bad but they had already closed the patio by the time we arrived. So we were seated in a section all by ourselves, which made me laugh because it looked like we were the only ones there. Decor is on the dark and warm side. There are some fireplaces which make the area very cozy.
Our server Thomas took great care of us. He was personable, warm, and friendly which made a huge difference. I think the service alone made it a great experience.

Fantastic daily happy hour (3-6 PM) with an amazing view of the water to go with it! I would easily give this place 4 - 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor service.
We stopped here yesterday on a lovely Sunday afternoon and were seated promptly in their bar (designated happy hour area). They have a great, extensive happy hour food menu. We tried the following:
Oysters ($1.50 each) - FOUR STARS - We had some great and some not so great quality oysters. There were a couple in the bunch with chipped shells, the shucking needed some work.

View: 10/10!!!! Upscale & Tranquil at the same time. Set alongside the water, it's hard not to stare off into space at all the activities happening on it. The View is absolutely stunning both inside and out.
Drinks: 3/5 Lack of variety for beers on tap & not a single classic cocktail is listed. I'm sure the bartenders are skilled in their craft but I can't help but assume that at a classy venue such as this, not having classic cocktails on the list can come across as a bar

This restaurant has perfect location and spacious patio overlooking the water and Stanley Park which is a plus. I like the fact that it's not too busy here so you can pretty much get a table as soon as you arrive.
The service is great, but I have to give it 3 stars because of the food. We ordered seafood platter, calamari and fries. The fries were not crispy but unfortunately it was the best dish of the meal compared to the other two dishes. Seafood were not fresh and the calamari tasted like those frozen bags you buy at SuperStore.
I would only come here for the drinks not for the food. If

My friend and I went for a walk in Coal Harbor when we started getting hungry, and LIFT happened to be right there, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant has two levels, a dining area on the first floor as well an outdoor seating area with heat lamps. From outside, we also noticed a outdoor lounge area with fire pits, but we didn't get to check it out.
We asked to be seated on the second floor dining area. The views are amazing from here, especially at sunset. We came

I was in town visiting a family member about 12 days ago and was recommended this restaurant for a quick bite, good drinks and great views. We went as a group of 4 around 3 PM.
Parking: From what I understand it is valet only and it is AWFUL. My family and I parked our car and was told by valet that they would have to move it for us because customers weren't allowed to park in front of the restaurant. By the end of our meal, our car was never moved and we ended up paying the man for literally doing nothing! I was very dissatisfied with their services and feel almost as if I had been ripped

A place for experiences and memories.
Beautiful views. Nicely arranged, comfortable in an upscale and accessible neighborhood.
Thankful that when I went here for appetizers and hours of working with a friend, I was still treated nicely, and professionally-making me come back a number of times.
Food was creative and tasty. And enough food in an appetizer for a light meal.

Incredible view and such a great place to get an afternoon drink on the water, especi when the weather is so perfect.
We just came here for a couple drinks and ended up with a couple apps (no, the the apps you buy at the App Store, but the little food that you eat before your big food comes).
Point being I don't know how they are for a full meal. But if you're looking for a nice place to chill, have a drink or two, and catch up with an old friend. This place is perfect.
