Change is something Bryan has embraced throughout his career, and after five years in the navy, he had the opportunity to attend the University of New Brunswick, earning a degree as an electrical engineer.
Adding on to your Ottawa home, remodeling a kitchen, or finishing your basement can often involve tying into electrical circuits - not a straightforward project. Knob and tube wiring was the standard way in which homes were electrically wired from about 1880 to the 1940s; many homes in older, established areas in Ottawa still have knob and tube wiring. It consists of single insulated copper wiring that runs within wall or ceiling cavities. This wiring passes through joist and stud drill-holes via protective porcelain insulating tubes, and is supported by nailed-down porcelain knob insulators.
As a licensed electrical contractor, our work is backed with an Electrical Inspection Certificate from the Ontario Electrical Safety Authority. All work is completed by our professional licensed electricians and exceeds the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. 2nd Floor Ceiling Chandelier installation
We needed a ceiling chandelier installed in an open, curved 2nd floor stairway and found it so difficult to find a reliable electrician, and Ring Electric came to the rescue. I called them on Monday and they came the very next day on Tuesday to do the installation. The technicians were friendly, quick, clean, worked safely, followed all Covid protocols, and the workmanship was awesome. Our chandelier was a previously loved unit from my sister and I wasn't sure we had all the parts but the technicians were able to verify it and provide any small missing

The electricians arrived on time and completed the job exactly as quoted, including the time estimate. They were both extremely courteous, professional, and organized. The work I had completed was a panel upgrade, and it was refreshing to see professionals at work whom hold an innate quality standard of work. This standard did not only apply to the clean up but precisely where and how wires are connected, routed and secured. Professional all around, and I would highly recommend Ring Electric to anyone. I will be calling them back for my next project.

I had contacted a few electrical companies to install a home EV charging station but Ring provided a more timely response to my inquiry. Within a week, Bryan was onsite providing an assessment of my needs and identifying some areas of concern that we had noted before his visit. Had a great experience with Ring Electric; they came to address a long list of upgrades including two new ceiling fans, new pot lights and under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, and much more. Most recently I had a switch moved and under cabinet strip lighting installed. I am very pleased with how this has improved the quality of lighting in my kitchen. The electrician was very pleasant, got right to work on the project, did an excellent job and as I said, I am so happy with the results.

Thrilled with the outcomes and professionalism of the team of three that came to install pot lights, update my panel and connect my bathroom ceiling fan. The guys offered me time to get spousal approval on lighting placement, cleaned up as they went and asked permission to do anything, including petting our dog Cujo.
