Our bricklayers LOVE brick! The most common brick repair jobs usually consist of tuck pointing and/or repairing cracked bricks. Tuck Pointing is also known as 'Repointing Brick, Brick Repointing or just Brick Pointing'. Tuck pointing requires a mason to grind out all the old mortar between the bricks and repoint it with new mortar.
Chimney cleaning services should be carried out at least once per year on all active wood burning fireplaces. Chimney sweeping of the entire flue from the firebox to the top of the chimney above the roof. Our chimney cleaning professionals will be sure to tape off your entire firebox and use the proper equipment to keep your home clean.
Chimney Pointing begins with us grinding out all the old mortar and repointing it all with new mortar. This can give your chimney many extra years of life, but don't leave it too late or you may require a full chimney rebuild service. We provide chimney pointing services very regularly and you can be sure we will do a beautiful job.

Terrible workmanship. I asked Martek Masonry to install a cedar fence. Less than five years later, it turns out the gate posts were never put deep enough into the ground with enough concrete and so are loose and failing. I called Martek to follow up and see if it could be repaired. Promises to come by and look were repeatedly broken. I feel taken advantage of, and would like to warn buyer beware when it comes to this company.

I very much recommend Martek Masonry. They have done excellent
work on my deteriorating chimney. They give you a good estimate
about the proposed work and once they have scheduled the work
they will complete on time. I was very happy happy with the work
they did. They would have received 5 stars if they had told me when
they would start the job, but to be fair, weather conditions were
not good at the time.
