Louis Gauthier founded Atelier Louis L'artisan Inc. in 1976. Taught by his father and grandfather, gifted with talent and blessed by creativity, Louis custom built wood furniture from a very young age. In 1980, he re-oriented his entrepreneurial activities toward custom kitchen cabinets.
Further expansion of the company included a considerable enlargement of the workshop in Bourget; the purchase of new and more sophisticated equipment; as well as, the remodeling of the showroom.Ongoing improvements and developments have been part of the company's values ever since.
Now, more than 20 employees and many sub-contractors work together to ensure that Louis L'artisan remains the most reputable and renowned cabinet makers of Eastern Ontario.The great success of this family owned business encouraged Louis and Sylvie Gauthier, the original owners, to think long-term.

Quality, professional, and on time. Could not ask for a better team to put things together for my boys room. To save space in their bedrooms, we ripped out the cupboard, and had the built-ins. My boys rooms have never been so clean, and they have tons of space for their things. Keeps my wife happy as well.
