Allied air is the sorrento company in the world . Just had warranty work done our heat pump and they're charging Shipping and handling $250 on top of not covering all maintenance work done for a warranty part . My bill totaled $ 970 and the company that did the work only charged $180 for labor plus $250 shipping costs plus $540 for freon . THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY FOR PARTS AND LABOR OR SHIPPING COSTS DUE TO PART FAILURE . I REPEAT STAY AWAY FROM ALLIED AIR PRODUCTS AT ALL COSTS . I'm out over $3,000 in just the last 3 months due to faulty equipment made by Allied Air Inc

Our Armstrong heat pump was a lemon. In the 2 years we had it, it had 2 major break downs resulting in astronomically high heating bills. In addition, after it was fixed, our energy costs were higher than with our 10 year old unit. Our lemon unit has been replaced, and I hope the new one is better.

I've been in HVAC sales and purchasing for 16 years and this is by far one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. Horrible customer service. Hard to get ahold of anyone and constant screw ups. As the purchasing agent for 3 supply house's I do my best to avoid this place at all cost

I have been dealing with Shandreca (their consumer affairs specialist) on a warranty issue on my Airease brand unit. She is super sweet and has been excellent to deal with! She has answered my many many calls and e-mails and even made phone calls to suppliers on my behalf. She has gone out of her way to help my family get the air going again!

Ive been using Allied Air equipment [Ducane, Air Ease, etc] for years now and they are of excellent quality and workmanship. Allied equipment is identical to Lennox, comes off the same assembly lines, with the main difference being the color of enamel used to paint the cabinets and obviously the branding. Excellent equipment with a 10 yr warranty, which I personally register for all clients with new installs.

Heater has not been working for over a week. It is 0 Degrees outside. Myself and the repair companies we work with have not been unable to reach Ducane and no one has returned any calls. The next furnace we buy will not be a Ducane. Horrible customer service and very difficult to get in contact with. If you like heat in your home, don't buy a Ducane.

We bought a complete HVAC system from a local Allied Air distributor, who also installed it. 2 years & 2 weeks later, the compressor went out, which cost us $750.
The unit is 6 years old now, and an ICP Control board had a bad component on it which cost us $890. Being 6 years old, I can understand, however, the HVAC Tech said that Allied's competitors recognized this problem & designed their similar boards where this bad component is easily unplugged and replaced at a fraction of the cost we just paid.
We have also learned that if the blower motor on our unit goes out, it's cheaper to just "replace

Our HVAC died right as it started dipping into the 30s at night with an infant at home. Allied Air came out immediately and installed a new unit in two days. Every single person I interacted with was incredibly nice, polite and professional. Kim was great on the phone setting everything up and BJ was super helpful and apologetic that he couldn't save our ancient unit. Would recommend thwm highly.

These guys advertise that they will give you a 10 yr. warranty on the parts on a system 5 yrs. more than the standard warranty all you have to do is to register the system on their website. The offer is misleading in that when you go to register to get the extended warranty you are informed that the extended warranty is only available on certain types of installation. You only find this out after you have relied on their advertisements in making the purchase. I feel this is deceptive at the very least. The consumer is tricked into the purchase by the promise of a 10 year warranty obviously a great
