Although no special tools are usually required when installing window treatments, it is suggested that you use a battery operated screwdriver or drill to make the job easier. First, un-package your treatment carefully and do NOT use a razor blade or knife to open the boxes. It is very easy to cut a string or the blind by doing this.
Rule 3. When writing down your measurements be sure to indicate which measurement is the width and which is the height and ALWAYS note the width first, then the height. A common mistake customers make is transposing the numbers. Be sure not to get them backwards. Since these are custom made products it's generally very hard to have a size modified and can get costly to have them remade.

If you do not know where to get your shades from, then Blind express is the best place. I have got zebra shades and and they are stylish with high quality. The service is excellent. Tony and his team were very helpful starting with a consultation session, then measuring and installation. I had a great experience.

I came across this company as I was looking for blinds for my new house. The reviews were very positive, so I thought I would pay them a visit. Upon meeting Tony and his wife, they were very pleasant from the get go. Tony and Tina at Blinds Express are very friendly and honest, and also are very knowledgeable and passionate about all the different products that their store provides. When they were in my house, both of them did a very good job in doing the measurements of the windows on the main floor and the master bedroom in my house in Calgary. They then took the time to show me and my wife many different samples, colours, types and fabrics for, and also explain to us the advantages & disadvantages of the different types of : (1) solar roller blinds that we want to install at the windows on the main floor

Tony and Tina offered exemplary service in fitting our new house with blinds. They came to our house with many options and colors so that we were able to find the perfect blinds for our house. They offered a very fair price and turnaround time to have them installed in our house. Recently we had some damage to the blinds caused by our infant son. They fixed the blinds without the thought of trying to sell us on new blinds. Fantastic experience and I highly recommend Blinds Express.
