Today, Trails End is known for Enriched Soils, Custom Blends, the largest selection of Mulches in the region, gravel and specialty aggregate. All of our products are available in bulk, for pick-up or delivery and by the bag.

Trails End has been family owned and operated since 1996. We began with a backhoe and a small dump truck, doing small jobs for customers, family and friends. In 1999 Trails End Pick-up Depot opened its doors at its current location at 480 Welland Avenue in St. Catharines. We welcomed all customers into our store where we educated them about products and helped them choose the ideal product for their projects.
Along with our product line, Trails End offers a wide range of bulk delivery and pick up options, as well as expert advice from our trained staff. Our dedicated staff are ready to assist! Shredded Bark Mulch: consists of mainly bark (80-90%), which will break down within 2-5 years. As it breaks down, mulch will add nutrients to your soil, improving the over-all soil structure. Our mulch has good weight characteristics for staying in place. Most people like to top up a little each year to keep that fresh look; to maintain all the benefits, is it important to refresh your mulch every few years.
Please call or come visit us if you need assistance. Holds between 1 - 15 yards of mulch, 1-10 yards of soil and 1-8 yards of stone. Starts at $60 and increases depending on your km distance from our 480 Welland Ave location. Holds two different products, up to 4 yards of one and 2.5 cubic yards of another, depending on the total weight of all products.
Use a lawn roller to ensure seed is planted into the soil and ground is levelled properly. Is your lawn level? Are there certain areas that puddle in the spring and when we get lots of rain? This is an issue because when you have soggy areas, you're more likely to cause ruts and tear up the grass as well as they are a common breeding ground for insects.

Trails End is great.
A month ago, I ordered 5 yards of Gro-Max. The delivery was super early the next day, and the soil was excellent. Exactly what my wife wanted for her new gardens.
I just made another order now for some new gardens that we did on the weekend. Called them up, and they are doing to delivery right now. Great service.
I will be building more gardens in the spring, and we WILL be calling on Trails end again.

Had 4 yards of excellent 50/50 blend delivered few days ago, Dave greeted me with a very polite and professional attitude. He was curious to where I wanted the soil, After showing him where - in my backyard and I took down an 8 foot section of my fence. To be honest with you I didn't think Dave would even attempt this maneuver the truck barely fit… through with only cm on each side Dave not only executed the task not once but twice and to my disbelief. He also spread the dirt with the truck by driving slowly and lifting the back bed at the same time . He was truly awesome what a professional
