Jason and Ben provided accurate estimates and action plans for our renovation. Costs were reduced by seeking out less expensive subcontractors. Billing was transparent with individual receipts for all material purchased and subcontractor costs. Work was continuous until the job was complete. It was a pleasure to see them arrive each morning, especially during lonely pandemic times. Skilled, hard working and honest. The finished work is structurally very sound and looks great. Highly recommended.

Typically, we prefer to hire a contractor that we, or someone we know, have had experience with in the past. As we wanted a General Contractor to undertake a full basement renovation and we had no one to turn to, we contacted Mariposa Homes who had recently moved into our neighbourhood. The project has now been completed and we are thrilled with the results. Jason and Ben from Mariposa are an incredible team. They are efficient, professional, respectful and skilled. As we have an older home, they were required to be flexible and resourceful in determining alternative solutions as we discovered

I undertook a renovation with the lowest bidder that was botched. That was when I engaged Mariposa. They weren't much more expensive, but they weren't the cheapest either.
I was very impressed with the team that undertook my renovation. We did all the plumbing in the house, painting, ceilings, floors, and doors. At every step, I felt well taken care of.
Although they were more expensive, I felt that I saved money because I didn't have to pay to fixed botched work, like I did in the previous renovation. The moral of the story is that you get what you pay for. I would choose to pay a little extra

The workers were very professional,quick, cleaned up every day. We lived in house while work was done with no problem. The job was done before the stated time and on budget. complete remodeling of jack and jill bathroom. and removal of popcorn ceiling and paint on main floor. i can not figure how to show pictures

Jason and Ben did an amazing job transforming my backyard and deck into a more usable space year round. The project was larger than anything we've done before so we knew we had to hire a professional. I decided to go with Mariposa Homes because I really appreciated Jason's timely and professional response. We met on several occasions to discuss what the vision was and Jason was always able to provide different options/things to consider. After agreeing on the plan, Jason's crew began in earnest and the work progressed as per his timeline. Unfortunately the COVID-19 pandemic did slow things down

Mariposa was the right choice for our home renovation. From day one they were courteous and professional. Mariposa executed our plans to perfection and communication was very clear through the entire project while expectations were set and met with no surprises. Through the course of our renovation we made changes and Mariposa was able to accommodate our requests. In the end the renovation was exactly as desired and we couldn't be happier.

Jason at Mariposa homes did a great job managing my project. I needed a basement taken from completely unfinished to partially finished. This was a little bit of an odd request, but Jason was more than willing to work with me on the idea. Jason and his team did the framing, rough in plumbing and electrical, insulation, windows, and wallboard. The project was on time and mostly on budget. There were a few approved changes, one un-expected event, and small overages that increased the cost a bit. I was kept up to date on all the goings on, and everyone who came on my property was experienced and respectful

Jason and Benny are both honest and professional. I had two great experiences with Mariposa homes. The first was to renovate a completly unfinished basement and install a master bedroom with window, washroom and laundry room and the other was to build a shed. In both cases they completed the job beyond expectation and within budget.
