During the 1970's, Stanley Krawczyk worked as a gardener at the famous Molson Brewery Greenhouses and Gardens in Lethbridge, Alberta. He became well known in Southern Alberta when he co-hosted a gardening show on CJOC radio with Terry Bland. Bland gave Stan the nickname Mr. Green Thumb.? His local fame as a gardening expert gave Stanley the idea of starting his own landscaping business and he decided to stick with the name MRG Contracting.

It can take 500 years for 2 cm of topsoil to form naturally. Fortunately, MRG Contracting can deliver top quality topsoil to your property a lot quicker than that. Topsoil is the uppermost 5 cm to 20 cm layer of soil. It has the highest concentration of nutrients and microorganisms, and it's where plants concentrate their roots and get most of their food.
When it comes to trucking we have a variety of equipment in our fleet to be able to serve your needs. A company made a commit to me about a one time job who I hired due to a short deadline. 5 minutes later Mr Greenthumb called and I had to decline, clock ticking. The day of the work, the companyI hired didn't show, I had to call them who advised they couldn't come for another 2 1/2 days. Mr Greenthumb stepped up and did the work with 1 hour notice. Totally awesome. Couldn't ask for nicer people. Definitely went above and beyond.
