The awning can be used in light rain when supervised, provided there is enough slope for the water to run off. Anything less will lead to water pooling on top of the fabric, potentially damaging the awning's frame and / or fabric. Fabric gets dirty; it's a fact of life. The fabric can be cleaned easily and is suggested annually.
Using a garden hose, spray the top of the fabric to remove dust and pollen. If required, mild soap (such as Dawn or Sunlight) can be used to treat more stubborn spots. Rinse off all soap residue and let the fabric air dry before retracting the awning. Higher density mesh or solar mesh is used to achieve daytime privacy.
Solid acrylic fabrics can also be used to provide privacy for both daytime and nighttime use. Our Phantom Executive Screen and Zip Shade Screen systems are ideal for keeping unwanted pests out of your space. The mesh stays firmly locked into the integrated side tracks providing an insect free area.

Outstanding customer service throughout the entire purchase and installation process!
We recently had an issue with the awning (not retracting) which was our fault. Dennis and his lovely spouse Christina actually came to our home at 9:30 pm to do an emergency repair for us! Customer service above and beyond!

Owners Christina & Dennis are two of the most professional people to do business with! My sister purchased an awning from Dennis' parents who were the original owners of London Awnings and she felt the same. It is obvious that the apple does not fall far from the tree!
