Topwest Asphalt Ltd. is a pavement design and construction service company established in 2007. Jay Chauhan founder of Topwest Asphalt Ltd., is an expert in roadway, parking lot and driveway construction. He has over 15 years of experience in this field. He is passionate about his work, and has trained and incorporated the most experienced and hardworking individuals into his team.
Although the Vancouver region has a generally mild climate, the area's infrequent yet well-documented temperature extremes can be enough to wreak havoc on asphalt. Topwest Asphalt has served the local area for more than 20 years, providing us with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience required to face the challenges of Vancouver asphalt installation, replacement, and repair.

We highly recommend Topwest Asphalt. We had our driveway re-asphalted and also had an aggregate pathway redone. It was a large project, so it was important for us to use a reputable company. From the quoting process right through to completion, they were highly professional, respectful of our property, and attentive to our many questions. Much consideration was given to all aspects of the work. We are extremely happy with the final product and would definitely recommend Topwest.

Topwest was great. Jay was very clear in the instruction of how the water would flow on the parking lot. His team was on time and prepared. Perfect job with no low spots. Jay was upfront about the pricing and how it may require extra trucks of gravel depending on the base. Very happy with overall result.

The company came to do their initial leveling and gravel packing on a Friday afternoon. As the bulldozer was leaving, they broke the cap on the city sewer drain --- and they left without saying anything - and the sewer drain filled with gravel. They neatly set the broken piece back in the hole. Saturday the sewer started backing up in the basement. The plumber came as soon as he was called; which was now dark outside. He couldn't find the problem and left his shop vac to help with the continually flowing sewer. Meanwhile, DON'T USE THE PLUMBING. The sewer continued to run 18 hours.

We had Topwest do a driveway reconfiguration job. Jay came in and I explained what we wanted done, he had the driveway prep. company come in and prep the driveway. They made sure we were satisfied before they finished. When I checked in, they were great making adjustments and completed the work. Same with the paving group, they came in and Jay made sure that we were satisfied again, making some adjustments before they were finished. We were totally satisfied with their work and their willingness to accommodate to our satisfaction.

We called Topwest based on reviews and were not disappointed.
We had Duke(Estimator) attend to evaluate and provide a quote for all or just a portion of our existing Asphalt.
Based on his opinion and expertise, we were only required to do approximately 1/3 of the driveway.
I felt he and the company were fair and completely honest in their assessment of what was required. They did not try to do more than what was necessary.
The owner subsequently called to setup the date for repairs.
The crew arrived and did a fantastic job over the approximately 4 hours it took.

Working with Jay to complete the job was easy. His knowledge and attention to detail was spot on. When the day came to lay the pavement they arrived on time and I was greeted by all of the staff. The job went better than I expected. The water drainage is perfect. The finish around our decorative rocks is perfect. I would recommend Topwest to any of my friends that needed asphalt work done.
