As second-generation roofers, both brothers had extensive experience in the construction and roofing industry. Lummerding Exteriors did a replacement of our hail damaged roof and siding. Jason was really good to work with, and what you could call an "honest hammer." He was responsive and professional to deal with. They completed quality work and given current market procurement for materials did it very quickly in a time when we needed a fast turn over.

They redid our shingles 8 years ago and we recently had a leak because of a squirrel that set up a little home in our roof. They came and fixed it right away free of charge. I really appreciate their service and their workmanship.

I was very pleased with how prompt and professional everyone was. They did a great job on my roof and were very polite. Answering all my questions and alleviating all my worries. They went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done right and made sure to clean up well so that my yard was safe for my children play in. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone!

The work that was done was not done correctly the next snow fall we had resulted in water pouring into my house when prior to the work being done by Lummerding it was a minor leak. When I called to discuss there was no empathy for the situation there was no offer to rectify the damage that was happening in my house due to their work. There was no rebate on the work that was completed even though the work caused further damage. There was the offer to come take a look at the roof again and try to work out the issue but it was pointed out that I would be charged at full price. This company was recommended

Did not meet minimum requirements for roof installation. Company hired by Intact to replace shingles from hail damage. Missing flashing in some areas, no felt installed in top of roof deck. No drip edge. Appears crew ran out of materials. Now left with rotten OSB and water drainage downward behind siding. Major repairs ahead including window replacement.

A third party reviewed your concerns,
1.The work that we where contracted by the previous owner of the property was completed in accordance to Alberta Building Code requirements and followed the agreed upon scope of work with our client at that time. Items such as drip edge, felt paper installed over the entire roof deck, etc where upgrade options that was presented to the previous owner and declined at that time.
2. The issue you mentioned about the siding is not related to the roof work that was competed by our company.

Lummerding replaced the hail-damaged roof on our acreage house two summers ago. After installation, there was a problem with rain trickling down the plumbing vent and into the house. The very next morning, the owners themsleves made the 100 km drive to our acreage to replace the faulty gasket. Then this last month, two years after the new roof was installed, we noticed trickles traveling from inside the roof, and down into the house along our wood stove exhaust pipe.
