We offer demolition services for small to large buildings with all the equipment and the experience to perform demolitions in a safe and environmentally friendly manner! Makkinga Contractors provides operated heavy equipment rentals throughout Northwestern Ontario as well as floating services with operators to construction companies in the region.

Makkinga Contractors began in 1989 when John Makkinga put everything on the line and took a huge risk mortgaging his family home to start his own business. He used those funds to purchase, which was at that time, the largest excavator in Northwestern Ontario; a 3500 Insley Excavator, and the rest is history.
