Boulderwood is a large-scale renovation involving a full demolition of the interior and replacement of all the windows and exterior window casings. Victoria is a traditional custom home that is full of beautiful interior features including white oak flooring, detailed tile work, wainscotting, custom handrails and barn doors.

Dusty and his team was extremely professional. The level of customer service we received was far beyond that displayed by any other contractor/builder we have previously worked with. His team showed up when they said they would, they were very skilled at their trades, and they actually cared about our home as they paid extreme attention to workmanship. If things didn't look 100% right, it was redone without us even asking. Even our designer was impressed. I have no reservations about referring Amity to anyone looking to build or renovate their homes.

We purchased a Amity built home. The quality and care of construction was immediately apparent when we toured the home. This commitment didn’t end after the home was completed, Dusty made a point to walk us through the home, pointing out some of the hidden craftsmanship and quality, ensured we had a thorough understanding of the systems to the home. We hired Amity to complete a renovation of our front entrance which turned into a much larger project involving revamping and upgrading all areas of the house inside and out. We don't live full time in Victoria and needed someone we could trust while we were not on site. Dusty and his staff were at the house everyday and he provided daily communication as to the progress of the project. Dusty's staff and contractors were polite and professional. It was a pleasure to work with Amity and I would highly recommend the company to anyone considering building or renovating.

We had a problem with our house and Dusty and his crew were contacted to do the repairs. It was a multi phase process but Dusty was on top of it. I'm sure some would consider it a minor fix but Dusty always made me feel like it as a priority. He and his crew were very kind, professional and respectful. I had other things I wanted to add to my house that required an electrician and smart home expertise and he offered recommendations. These people were also great and it's very clear that he surrounds himself with the best.

We designed a downsizing age-in-place home and Amity built it. It was in a neighbourhood that hadn't seen any development since the '50s but Dusty and his crew won the neighbours over with his courtesy and accommodating manner. We had some specific wants for the project and he helped us to find the middle road between what we dreamed of and what we could actually afford. That included special features like a outdoor sleeping area and an indoor-outdoor feeling to the kitchen-dining area. The quality of work and west coast feel is often commented on by visitors. I recommend this contractor to friends
