Knob and tube wiring removal has been our specialty since 1996. One of our strengths is in taking ownership of the patching required to repair the holes made by the rewiring. We contacted Rob to replace a standpipe wich was bent. He gave us an estimate and we agreed on the service date. His team came on time and work was done professionally. Rob was very quick to schedule an appointment for the very next day. Phil was on time and installed 5 light fixtures. He was efficient and tidy. He even helped get rid of the old fixtures along with the boxes. I never quite needed an electrician before but I now have my go to. Thanks again guys!

Hired these guys to do replace my panel and do some clean up of questionable work in my basement done by previous owners. Rob came and gave a no BS or up sell quote. Peter and Brian who did the work were outstanding , Clean and friendly! They even entertained my very curious 10 year old on how electricity works! Will call them again when I need work.

We just hired Langstaff & Sloan to replace knob and tube wiring in our house and I would highly recommend them. They were very professional, gave us great suggestions when it came to adding or moving switches or light socket's and were very careful with all the original wood trim in our house. They also did an excellent job patching our walls. I would use them again.

Had an amazing experience and service from Langstaff and Sloan. I needed to install a number of light fixtures and dimmer switches in my home, as well as install a fixture where one didn't currently exist. I am somewhat new to the neighbourhood and did not know which electricians in the area would provide a reliable service. I called Langstaff and Sloan to request further information with regards to having an electrical outlet replaced as well as dimmer switches installed. I was directly connected with Rob who was very informative and provided additional advice as to how to maximize the use of his electricians time since I was going to be charged for one hour of labour regardless of how quickly the jobs were done. I don't know much about anything electrical and I was having an issue with wiring and a ceiling light fixture in my apartment so I contacted Langstaff & Sloan. Rob was quick to respond and had someone available to come out the next day. The electrician Peter was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly! L&S Team came to my store as a Toronto Hydro contractor to upgrade the service. They explained everything in clear and understanding terms, they were very courtious, punctual and kept to the said schedule.
