A wealth of knowledge, great service and great quality products, I needed a rug for my son's room, I was helped over the phone and sent some options on email. The selection was perfectly understood and tailored to what I was looking for, nice and cushy floor for my toddler son's room. I was sent a beautiful blue Gabbeh rug, my son loves walking and playing on it. I was very impressed with the level of ease and understanding that I received in the service.
I will definitely go back there again to furnish other areas in my house with beautiful and unique original Persian pieces of art.

I recently purchased two rugs from Boft Fine Rugs and had the best possible experience. I had shopped all over Calgary, been in numerous stores and specialty rug shops and by far, meeting with Ali, the Owner, was the most enjoyable and had the best outcome. I had thought this store would only offer extremely high priced area rugs, but was pleasantly surprised to learn that there is a high range of prices on the hand made rugs. He is passionate about his craft and his family-run shop was very welcoming when we had our three young kids in tow to select a carpet for our home. Shopping for rugs during a covid lockdown was tricky but Ali made the experience fun and enjoyable. He video called us and showed us around his showroom and warehouse. He went through each pile live on video and he made sure to take notes of all of our criteria. He then compiled a list of rugs and sent us clear photos along with detailed descriptions of each that he felt fit our criteria. We chose the perfect piece for our living room. Highly impressed with with the service!

Ali picked up our beautiful rug and did a fantastic job on cleaning it. It takes a bit of time to do but the results were amazing. Fresh and colours popped like new. It's about 25 years old. Not old, according to Ali, he mentioned it should last at least another 25 years and perhaps 100 if care is well taken. Highly recommend!

We visited a couple of stores. Boft had the best designs and price. Ali, the owner of the store, educated me about hand-loomed v.s. hand-knotted carpets and recommended to buy a hand-knotted carpet. The former has fuzz and is made with machine, and does not last as long. I went with his recommendation. The staff were very patiant and professional going through various designs without us feeling any pressure to buy them.

We were looking for quite a large rug and the physical exerction required in moving the rugs to show us all the options and allow us to view and compare them is impressive. Our new rug is perfect. The incredible story of just one fine Persian rug - no matter where it's made - is amazing! Certain villages in Iran, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, and elsewhere in south-central Asia house carpet designers and artisans who have a particular style in making the finest they are capable of. I was looking for a Persian rug to furnish my office. I shopped around - as one does - and discovered a few shops in Calgary. Not knowing anything about rugs I asked a lot of questions. It did not take long to learn that there are a lot of fake "50% discount ~ Going out of business sale" *scams*. I discovered Boft in Inglewood in 2011. No pressure and no slippery sales talk.
