Your two choices are nails and hanger brackets. Nails are the economical system currently used by all major builders in GTA when building new houses.

We originally used the services of DVC Aluminum (Vedran) back in 2015 to install aluminum siding to the front and back of our house.
Vedran was most professional and his work was/is exceptional and of great value (affordable).
Just recently, we had a raccoon issue which caused a lot of damage to our soffits at the highest Gable which Vedran repaired. Again, Vedran's work was exceptional and at a very reasonable cost.
I would recommend Vedran for any aluminum siding, soffit and eavestrough installation and/or repair as you will receive exceptional work for a very reasonable cost.
