Services
By using technology and advanced video analytics, VCMS is able to completely replace costly traditional security guard service. We strategically place our HD cameras in order to cover the automated gate as the truck enters and as the truck leaves the property. HD camera takes a still shot of each license plate as the truck approaches the gate and stores it for future review.
VCMS uses strategically placed HD cameras to cover the entire construction site, and our certified security guards do their guard tours by using these same cameras. A PTZ camera has a 360 degree coverage, and our operators are able to control it remotely from a monitoring facility, and obtain information such as license plates, vehicle information etc.
The fact that most of rent-a-car companies are self insured, a damaged or stolen vehicle becomes a company expense and is written off as a loss. VCMS, by using technology and a proven method of preventing crime, helps keep these costs at a minimum. Our certified security guards are able to observe a parking lot and watch over the inventory, and act accordingly.
Many car dealerships do not have a security guard service, which prevents them to fully protect their property and assets. If you are considering working for VCMS, consider the fact that I worked 1, 12 hour shift monitoring 5 screens with no break.
When I arrived at the office on December 3rd at 6 am, no one knew I was starting, there was no forms that I filled out, I was just told to email my proof of SIN and address. I just sat down and was shown how to use the computer system and monitor 5 screens.
