Services
The scope of the work, project schedule and budget are all established with the client. Once the deliverables are mapped out, work can proceed. Throughout the course of the project, computer updates for schedules and costing are completed on a monthly basis. This allows us to not only stay on top of the construction, but to anticipate and plan for any potential challenges that could face the project.
A cost plus arrangement is very similar to the traditional fixed price method with the exception that the fee and reimbursable expenses are negotiated between Timcon Construction and the owner. Once the drawings are completed the project is tendered to the trade contractors and suppliers. The worked is commenced.
There is a number of Construction Management contract methods used. With all methods the Construction Manager is typically selected through a competitive proposal process or on a negotiated basis. For each method the amount of risk the owner and construction manager assume varies, as well as the scope of services that are provided.
Timcon is proud of its ongoing commitment to worker safety. All of our employees participate in the company safety program. It strikes me how thoughtful the Timcon site managers are. They are so busy
& yet they take time to give our estimators info on the needs of their managed bldgs
(ie energy optimization & reduction of sickness/absenteeism by promoting a healthier indoor environment).
