We purchased 3 American Standard Champion toilets in late 2018. Two have had problems with the inlet valve (one of them, twice now). Parts received in timely manner. Now I have one that is cracked and Customer Service is non-existent. I have sent 2 emails and phoned 3 times. The hold times on the customer service # INCREASES the longer that you are one hold. It might start out at 0 hold time or 4-7 minutes and every 2-3 minutes later, the hold times go UP! I went from 0 to 3 to 6 to 7 to 9 to 11 to 14 today. Yesterday I started at 11 minutes and my wait time had risen to 43 minutes by the time

We have 3 American Standard toilets and they are all over 15 years old. We had replaced all the fill valves and flappers because they were all leaking 2 years ago. We had no complaints on these old toilets. Now we want to change them to the newer one, like Optum VorMax or Champion 4Max. Asked Home Depot staffs which one is better and I was told both are the same. Why the Champion box said the tank is insulated but the VorMax did not mention about the tank. Is the VorMax insulated? I changed 3 American Standard toilets, got it from Lowes. Not too long, I lost my receipt. I called in July 18, 2018. due to the flush valve has some noise, AS sent replacement to me, received quickly and there is no problem since. Today, July 22, 2019. I see a hairline crack on the toilet bowl (can happened to any brand), I spoke to Wil (great and pleasant to talk to as expected.). No question, I get that replace, and on its way. I love company that stand behind their product and have a great customer services team. Great Customer Service from American Standard Canada. Definitely, It's a brand

Four years ago I bought two American Standard toilets at Home Depot in Collingwood. They were professionally installed and worked fine, until, a year ago I began having issues with one of them. ( OPTUM VORMAX )
For days, I continually tried to contact customer service, but, was placed on hold, unable to make contact, so I went to Home Depot for help.
They told me they would speak with American Standard on my behalf.
A week later I was told nothing would be done for me as I had not registered my toilet upon purchase, even though I had my receipt for the purchase with me.

I wish I could give a 0 star. This is the worst customer service I ever had to deal with. They do not reply to your email so don't bother to email them. I tried calling them and they had no clue about their products. I had to go through the US American Standard customer service to get all my help and ordered parts from US supplier. I talked to my plumbing supply in Canada and they told me it is well known about the bad service from American Standard Canadian office and they only order parts from US. Instead of helping customers, this customer service is driving customers away. They should just

Bought their tub ( saver left hand tub) installed it as per their instructions. A Couple of days after install we noticed a wet spot on our ceiling below the bathroom. After investigation the cause of the leak was a bad fibreglass mold where the drain attaches to the tub. You can clearly see that it was a manufactures default. After waiting on the phone for 45 minutes to get in touch with someone at American standard, I was told that I would have to go through my homeowners insurance to claim any damages. They were not interested in receiving any pictures nor were they interested in helping me

It's comical really. Everyone has the same complaint. I have 3 toilets from them. All three had the same problem. Needed a new gasket to stop a slow leak into the bowl. First time I called, it was an hour and a half. No exaggeration. I just stayed on hold for fun to see how long it would be. It's hilarious. Well I am on hold again for the same issue. Any bets on how long it will take them to answer the call? Hey American Standard USA, you listening? Hire some people in Canada!!!!

American Standard warranties are useless because these jokers don't answer the phone. You will wait over half an hour and then get disconnected. Try again, same thing.
I made a mistake buying an American Standard toilet. I will do my best to inform others so they don't make the same mistake.

I waited on the phone for a total of 3 hours to simply have 2 toilet seats replaced since they both cracked in less than a year from installation. They not only take the cake in bad customer service, they’re the Betty Crocker of bad service! I wish that there was a way to give less than one star. My recommendation is to NEVER use ANY American Standard product. The only time these hands will touch that horrible product is to tear them out from all the renovation projects I have. Since I own a renovation company, I will be recommending to everyone to never use them again.

American Standard failed from products to customer services! I had such a terrible experience from this company. I bought two American Standard toilets from Lowe's in May 17, 2016 for my new house. I hired a contractor to pickup these toilets and installed the next day. After two days, I noticed the stains on both toilets. Apparently, the glaces were missing on some spots of these two toilets. I called and notified American Standard and it took them until June 22, 2016 to have an inspector to come to my house to confirm the defects.
