Berkhof's replaced the shingles on our roof just before we moved in about 10 months ago. When a leak developed in our living room ceiling after heavy and substation rainfall we called them to come take a look, assuming there was a problem with the roof. The owner was with us almost within the hour of our call. He inspected the roof and was satisfied with his company's workmanship. He took the time to explain to my husband where he thought the problem lay. It was with the windows not draining properly. He showed him how to fix the problem and gave him some tips. The roofing was done well and happy with the result. However the clothes line was knocked down. They were initially great and sought to fix it. However after 2 uses the clothes line came down and I never got a response to my message. Now I have to fix it myself. Not happy about that.

When that latest storm played havoc in whitby, Berkhof's to the rescue, not only was the repair fair, they understood the critical nature in the immediate need for repair, and did not take advantage, that is integrity..

Recently had this company do our roof and eaves. They do very good work, very high quality for a reasonable price. The only reason I give them 3 stars and not 5 is their lack of communication. We went several weeks without hearing from them regarding days and times when we were told they would "get back to us soon."

We would still highly recommend Berkhof if you are looking for quality work!
