Bridgecon Construction Ltd. is a specialized general contracting company that has been working in the field of structural rehabilitation since 1987. Bridgecon excels in the demolition, rehabilitation, and construction of various types of bridge and reinforced concrete structures throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Our highly skilled and unionized labour force is able to self-perform a variety of services in the rehabilitation of concrete and steel structures for our Clients. Bridgecon is a CWB certified company employing qualified welders which allows us to perform any structural steel repairs inhouse. In addition, Bridgecon owns and operates our own traffic control equipment and devices with trained traffic control staff.
Bridgecon also employs a team of dedicated professional staff who excel in quality control, safety & project management, scheduling and cost control. Bridgecon has been putting safety first since 1987. Bridgecon received its CORTM Certification from the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association in 2017 and has maintained the certification in good standing since.

Fred Alonzi founded Bridgecon Construction Ltd. in 1987 and has continued to be the backbone of the company to this date. Through his expertise in structural rehabilitation and concrete repair, Bridgecon has been able to fill an important niche in the specialized market of bridge rehabilitation. Mr. Alonzi has built a strong and ever-growing team of individuals that share a commitment to success and client satisfaction.
Although the Bridgecon name signifies our expertise in bridge work, our construction abilities are much more diverse. Bridgecon has successfully completed numerous projects involving structural concrete repair and rehabilitation. Such projects have included parking structures, culverts, airport aprons, and retaining walls.
