Hank Holzel Owner and operator of Hank's Electric for over 50 years, Hank holds a 309A Electrical Certificate as a Master Electrician. Marcel Holzel Marcel has been a part of the Hank's Electric team for over 25 years and he holds a 309A Electrical Certificate as a Journeyman.

Updating the wiring in home isn't as scary as it may seem. We can make an appointment with you and your client to do an in-home inspection of what would be involved to bring the wiring to the current code retirements.
Aluminum wiring was used in homes for a short period of time in the 1970's. Although the aluminum wire is still used today in many applications the problem that is found with residential applications has shown up with the oxidation of the connections in the home. The recommended application to resolve the problems cause by this is to use what has been termed a "copper pigtailing" method.
