Peak came recommended by friends who had a great experience with their renovation. We chose Peak after getting a formal quote that both guaranteed the price and the finish date. They came in exactly on price and were actually done earlier than they promised. Our research showed this is rarely if ever the case with other contractors. It was a much better experience than I imagined, given all the horror stories our friends and families related to us. I recently had my kitchen remodeled and the service I received from Peak Improvements was phenomenal and stressLESS. Everyone was professional, I was always kept in the loop about the process of the work, there were no hidden costs, I knew what I was paying and when I was paying. The project manager was wonderful and I always knew who was coming and going out of my home. I always felt supported with my questions. We purchased a 25-year old very tired condo that was desperately in need of a facelift. Rick, Chris, Paul and Gail did a fabulous job of redesigning our kitchen and master bathroom as well as updating our fireplace and a general facelift/paint and flooring. They did an awesome job, they kept us in the loop all the while and came in right on time and on budget. An experience we had been dreading turned out to be absolutely terrific. As with all who are seeking a contractor for renovations, get multiple quotes. Peak Improvements Ltd was over twice as much as two other professional quotes I received on a basement renovation (not your "Kijiji" contractors either). After I advised they were much higher than their competitors, the response was "Well, we are not our competitors..." How right you are.

The renovations to our condo are complete. We decided to do major upgrades to our suite, including floor, ceiling, baseboards and trim, new bathrooms, new fireplace, etc., such that we moved out while it was done. As well as doing this upgrade, we asked them to change some things like closet doors, and some minor repairs to kitchen sink, bathtub, etc., we had shelves built in the living room.
