Stanson Electric upgraded our panel and installed a breaker for a hot tub. Very clean wire running and penetration through the wall. Smooth scheduling of hydro and inspections. Matt really takes pride in his work and explains everything thoroughly. Very reliable. I strongly reccomend Stanson Electric. They won't disappoint.

Make sure you get your quotes in writing!!!! Even for the smallest job. I needed an electrician for literally one switch and one outlet. I was told there would be a minimum two hour charge of $140 but I agreed to it because I was in the midst of selling my house and it was important to me that it be done correctly and quickly. Long story short I was charged $89/hour plus tax and was told that was the rate I was given. By the time I realized it my credit card was already charged. My fault for being so desperate, as finding electricians is not easy, but seems to be one industry in particular where

Had Stanson in to validate and fix the wiring in an old home. The guys were knowledgeable and friendly.
There was an issue we discovered a few days later, but they came back to correct it, no problem.
Came in under the quoted cost, which was already significantly less than a quote from another company!

What an amateur operation. Called on May 15 for a quote, lady on the phone quoted me a price for the work I needed and said that they're booking service calls 2 weeks out. Since I was fine with the price I asked her to book the service call, which she did for May 30. She called me back shortly after I spoke to her and said that the owner wants to come out to the site to give me an estimate before he does the work. I agreed and we booked the quote for May 23, with actual work still happening on May 30.

I had purchased a home that had knob and tube wiring in Kitchener in mid November. I only found out afterwards because my inspection person had missed it. I was stressed and called over 5 different electricians. Two physically came by to provide a quote but then never bothered to get back to me. The other three just stopped responding when I tried to schedule a time for them to come by to provide a quote. I finally called Stanson electric, and Jen directed me to their master electrician, Matt, who promptly scheduled a time to take a look and then actually called me back to provide a cost effective
