A standard kitchen renovation of a small to moderate size would follow the same structure as your current kitchen. By keeping the appliances and fixtures in the same locations and keeping the space intact, there is typically little need to redo plumbing and electrical work. Simple lighting: Standard lighting would be included as opposed to many recessed pot lights.
Often the first question that comes to mind when considering a bathroom renovation is how much will this project cost? About 5 years ago they upgraded my kitchen. They performed an excellent job and always went above and beyond. I was super pleased. They checked back a few weeks later to see if I was still pleased. GOOD service. Today I had a small problem with the light fixture over the sink. They came within an hour and had it all fixed. I heartily recommend this business.

From the very beginning when I met Jose, I knew he was the type of detail oriented professional that I needed to redo my ensuite bathrooms! I was in the process of purchasing a new home, but required an engineer's expertise to determine if I could combine two bathrooms upstairs to make a large master ensuite. Had an excellent experience dealing w Tracy M while collaborating on a tile refacing project. I can’t even begin to describe the extra care she took in guiding us through the ordering and expediting process on our special order tiles. She made appropriate blade recommendations, set us up w delivery during such a busy period over the holidays, and even took our baby’s nap schedule into account while arranging delivery! Might seem silly, but that level of attention and kindness is exactly what we needed to complete our project with the least amount of stress possible. After delivery was completed

We were very disappointed. When we made an appointment for an “In-Store Consultation”, we explained that we wanted to redo our bathroom. We went to their showroom to speak with one of their designers to discuss the scope of our renovation project; we brought measurements and photos of our bathroom to help illustrate the scope of our project. The “design consultant” was not very attentive. Even after telling him several times that changing the sink was imperative, about 45 minutes into the consultation, he said, “Oh, so you are not keeping the sink”. We walked out shortly after that

Over the last 30 years or so we have gone through many renovations and have used some of the big name renovators in Ottawa. Within the last month we have had two bathrooms renovated by Kitchens & Bathrooms First and these have been our most stress free and successful renovations of them all.

I can’t say enough about the great experience I had at Kitchens and Bathrooms First for my master bath reno. Jessie proposed a wonderful design and choice of products, everything happened on time and on budget. The installers were so professional and skilled that having them in our home was no trouble at all. Response for one or two follow-up visits was immediate and tiny fixes were complete..no muss - no fuss.

We recently contracted Kitchens and Bathrooms First for a full renovation of our main bathroom. We obtained estimates from a variety of sources including both individual contractors and companies. We found this company, with Adam's assistance, to be not only competitive in pricing for the work and the supplies but also very professional in their dealings with us. From the very beginning they assisted with the design as well as the choice of materials and completed the work in a timely fashion (9 days). I wanted to add a sauna and bathroom to my basement and had some ideas in my head of how to do it/lay things out......thankfully I spoke to these guys first as my original plan wouldn't have worked and would have cost me a lot of money in alterations. They took the time to sit down with me and explain what I needed to do, and clearly had enough experience to visualize what I wanted without even seeing my basement. I bought the majority of the items from them (tiles, shower, shower enclosure, vanity unit and faucet) had they sold saunas I probably would have bought that from them as well! Quality

We had Kitchens & Bathrooms First renovate our kitchen & family room in July 2014. We are very happy with the experience and the final product is awesome. The total project went very smoothly from the initial planning to the expert installation. The expertise of the staff from Bob to Sloan, Joe and the installers, Archie and Victor was first class. Materials & workmanship are excellent.

A nice store with a great selection and really helpful staff. I had a shower/tub/tiling job done by them and what was a 3 day job took 7 days straight - they sent someone who had clearly not really done this before. Even the shop came by to take their sign off my front lawn by day 3 since they didn't want to embarrass themselves. Do your research before you commit to a reno with them - find out exactly who will do it and how much experience the person has because they contract out the work.
