Praetorian Security was incorporated in March of 1981, by founders Gale Lang and the late Peter Church. Initially the company provided only security patrols and uniformed guard services, before it expanded to provide alarm system services. From there began the converging of patrol services and alarm services to provide the alarm response services.
With over 30 years in the business, our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help you meet your security needs. Whether it's residential, commercial, industrial properties or agricultural properties and applications, we will design, install and service a custom system to achieve effective security for your property.
Whether you are at home or away, see who is at your door and use your phone like a walkie-talkie! Monitor the outside of your home and property - cameras connect to your home WiFi and upload clips to the cloud for you to review now or later. Keep track of activity with zone status monitoring and notifications - even when your alarm system is disarmed.
Without arming your alarm system, have one person stand at the keypad. Have a second person walk in front of the various motion sensors one at a time, and as they do, the corresponding number to that zone should display briefly on the keypad. Have the person at the keypad keep track of every zone that displays.
If you have never accidentally set off your alarm system before, the first time can be a very unnerving experience. Remember: DO NOT PANIC! Disarm you alarm system first, then call the Central Monitoring Station to advise them of the false alarm. As part of our initiative to reduce false alarms, some newer systems report a special "Cancel Code" to the Central Monitoring Station.
