Founded in 1976, Omega started as a 2 man service shop for Motorola 2-way radios. Now, while still providing sales and service to Motorola and other brand 2-way radios, Omega provides complex solutions throughout western Canada including 911 Emergency Fire/Rescue dispatch networks, radio based monitoring and control of major utilities such as hydro-electric, natural gas, fresh and waste water systems, and communications networks for the largest mines in the country.
Russ has a background in electronics, specializing in telecommunications and system design.After working as a sales/design rep and manager, in 2008 Russ became a partner in the company and is now Vice President. With over 20 years of experience offering customized technology solutions in the Interior of BC, he understands the big picture needs for each client.

Omega Communications Ltd. was founded in 1976 as a product servicing company by two senior electronic communications technicians. In the 1980's it grew into a sales and service organization as a result of growing demand. Having initially started as a 2 person company, Omega has grown to over 20 full time staff.
