Logs End is a hardwood flooring company with a difference. Instead of only cutting down new-growth trees, we focus on retrieving "lost" timber from the heyday of 19th-century Ottawa Valley logging operations. Many of our logs are recovered through diving operations on the Ottawa River, its tributaries and small lakes.

Its unique medullary ray and flecking patterns are of unparalleled beauty and the specialized cut of the wood ensures superior stability as it will only shrink in thickness.

Hickory is a beautiful hardwood that is incredibly durable and resistant to every day wear and tear. Hickory is approximately 45% more durable than Red Oak, and is correspondingly much more resistant to dents and scratches.

I recently got my engineered hardwood floors replaced and installed and Log’s End, and it was such a seamless experience for something that can be stressful.
Rob is a great person to deal with, and was the only person who was super responsive, helpful, and understanding during my search for a flooring contractor. He was amazingly helpful in choosing flooring that fit my home and budget, and his team was on time and was excellent when it was time to start the job.

Excellent floors that fit in perfectly with the 125 year old home we were renovating. Classic, but by no means boring. We found floors that we really liked, but in looking at the options they had available I know that someone with different preferences would also be able to find something they liked. Good service too. Highly recommended.

Bought logs end reclaimed pine flooring about 10 years ago. Within 5 years the floor was obliterated. The tiniest item dropped on the reclaimed pine leaves a scuff and forget about owning a dog. Getting ready to tear it all out and replace it with porcelain tile. The damage is so bad it can't even be resurfaced despite what logs end claims. I will never use logs end flooring ever again and do not recomend it to anyone. Basically 10k down the drain.

Logs End came to our rescue after a terrible experience we had with a local contractor. They were excellent at coming in and replacing our entire main floor, levelling and cutting around cabinetry with great detail. Excellent knowledge on products and very skilled installers!

From the get-go we had a very positive and pleasant experience with Rob and his team. It’s our first hardwood floor, we were so overwhelmed with the process. Rob made it so comfortable. We had few ideas but we didn’t know what wood will work for us. Rob helped and gave suggestions, listened to us. We went with Red Oak and we are loving it!

My husband and I had a very tight window to have new flooring installed due to quick closing dates. We needed to have old carpeting removed to accommodate a family member with respiratory illness. Have had the Engineered French Cut Oak installed throughout our main floor. Absolutely love the character in the floor. Low sheen hides imperfections from our dog and little one. Next step is to complete the basement in the same floor! The installers were excellent! Very happy!

Marilyn & I have had an extremely pleasant experience with all of Log's End personnel. Rob was very efficient and pleasant to deal with. He guided us throughout the initial stages and provided advice. He has a friendly no pressure approach to sales and that is a huge plus. His knowledge and experience is a great asset to Log's End.
