ETC is a locally owned and operated industrial service company located in the City of Greater Sudbury. We initially started as a dry ice cleaning company and have expanded our range of services to include high-pressure water blasting, wet/dry media blasting, industrial vacuum services, infrared thermography, hazardous waste management, graffiti removal and worker training programs.
Dry ice cleaning is a process where compressed CO2 particles (dry ice) are propelled at high velocities to impact and clean a surface, much in the same way as sand blasting. However, unlike other media blasting techniques, once the dry ice cleans the surface, the dry ice particles vaporize leaving only the removed debris behind.
What is Dry Ice? Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, tasteless, odourless gas that is found naturally in our atmosphere. CO2 can be cooled and compressed under high pressure to make liquid CO2. Dry ice is produced when the liquid CO2 is allowed to expand to an ambient pressure. This produces a CO2"snow" that can be compressed into convenient dry ice blocks, nuggets or pellets.
ETC offers a high pressure water blasting service that will quickly and effectively remove unwanted material from a number of different surfaces. We have an experienced and highly trained staff and our fleet consists of electric and diesel units so we are able to safely work in any surface or underground environment.
ETC offers a media blasting service that will efficiently profile a surface for painting applications or to remove unwanted materials from different surfaces. Our mobile blasting units are versatile and able to use a variety of different blasting media such as sand, Jet Mag, corn, walnut shell and glass.

Disgusting how they treat their employees. This company use to be owned by two people that had morals. It’s sad that this is what the company has become. I personally know the founder of the company and I know for a fact that he would not be as disrespectful and would not commit acts against the human rights act. Shame on you ETC.
