Stamped concrete, often called textured or imprinted concrete, is concrete that replicates stones such as slate and flagstone, tile, brick and even wood. The term plain concrete is used to describe any concrete mass used without any strengthening materials. The physical properties of plain concrete are very similar to stone and include the ability to withstand great pressure.

Ruby did our driveway, front porch and back patio in exposed aggregate back in April 2019... it was a very expensive project that we saved for over the years, and gave our house an incredibly beautiful curb appeal. Not only are we proud of the great work Ruby did with his team, we receive compliments to this day, especially from neighbors, family and friends. We also receive inquiries from strangers who stop by our house to ask who did our driveway, and we also caught some taking pictures... we point to them Ruby's contact info stamped on the concrete at the bottom of our driveway. My family had an amazing experience with Ruby concrete! We get so many compliments on our new driveway from everyone that passes. I’m surprised that people have a bad experience with Ruby Concrete...especially since some of them are complaining about cleanliness over a construction zone. lol anyways 10/10 recommend!!!

I'm very disappointed in how they have ignored my calls and any form of communication in regards to the outstanding work in the basement I got finished by them, along with all the cracks that have appeared in the concrete poured and paved by them. I basically wrote up a letter, emailed them and texted them multiple times.
They just don't care!
The 2 STARS are just because they did do some work.

Thorough professionals and know very well how to do their job. Since I am a first time home owner, I had very little idea what to do and how it needs to be done. They guided me through it and were so flexible and helpful throughout the job. My sidewalk and backyard looks so beautiful now with the concrete work. They took all necessary precautions during COVID to avoid any exposure to anyone as well.

I didn't hire them, but my neighbour did and the concrete dust ruined my interlocking.
They also left concrete dust all along the road and didn't make one attempt to clean it up.
I'm still upset to walk along the side of my house to see the concrete stains.
UPDATE: I've also attached some photos now which shows the stains on the side of our house. If you see the cut lines on the right, you can see tye corresponding stains on our home on the left.

Update the original review - A year after the concrete was put in (2019) I noticed cracks on a few different areas. I contacted Ruby and he came by, saw that cracks and said no problem it will be fixed but nothing was done. This year (2020), I emailed again twice and was told he would be by in September, we are now at the end of October and still no fix and now there is no response to my text or voicemail messages.
I have been giving his cards out to everyone who as asked for referrals about this company so for the sake of being fair, I have to tell the good and the bad. I am also going to be

Great concrete work. Ruby and his team made our driveway and backyard patio with exposed concrete beautifully and professionally. Made our house look so much better, and now we can enjoy barbecue in the backyard with the chicken on the grill.
