Ordered 3 cubic meters of topsoil/garden soil. Upon delivery I didn't question the quality, but soon realized that I had been delivered a clay like mixture. There are so many clay balls that don't break down I am unable to use it for the intended purpose. I phoned and spoke to Mr. Herman and he said all his customers are happy with the product that the clumps were wet, but they are dry and as hard as rock. Well I am not happy, I received dirt, not soil

The service at Mike Herman & Sons is fast and friendly, and I was in and out in a few minutes. All of my questions were answered quickly and accurately. The material was loaded in my truck while I waited to pay. The garden soil was rich and dark, with no stones or sticks. I will definitely shop here again.
