Excellent plumbing repairs and friendly service by JJ (a licensed plumber) with Abbey, a family run business. The owner Geoff did a preliminary diagnosis over the phone when I called, and he gave me a resonable estimate that turned out to be accurate. JJ fixed the problem at hand: replaced an old cartridge in a shutoff valve that had let water continue to flow to an outside water pipe and tap, which had caused the pipe to burst during a cold spell); he also removed the old pipe and installed a new tap in a better location. Since he was already here, I asked if he would fix small leaks in a laundry

Highly recommend this company. We have used them twice now for plumbing issues and are 1000% satisfied. They were originally referred to me by a friend who said they were outstanding, and she was not wrong. I would like to start with a BIG Thank you to Geoff & JJ.
I recently purchased a house which had "Luxart" fittings. There was a problem with my shower which would turn off in the midst of having a shower. The manufacturer sent me replacement cartridges four times as two different plumbers could not diagnose the problem. Fed up, I called the manufacturer who directed me to their distributor who in turn directed me to Geoff at Abbey Plumbing.
I called Geoff at 11:05 AM, explained the problem, his plumber JJ was at my place by 12 noon sharp as promised. He knew exactly what the problem was and got

Had to have the Main shut off valve replaced. They send a service technician and tells me he cannot do it. The city main has to be shut off. So the next day the city shuts the main at 9:30 am. I waited until 4:00pm called Abbey Plumbings back and get a store of their other job was a nightmare. So they will call back to reschedule the next week. That came and went. Called back k and asked why they didn't follow up. So I received a blank stare of a response, so I further stated that they didn't want the job. It seems now a days that small jobs are not worth while. That must of pushed his button.
