We have used Copper Tip on multiple occasions since 2019, when we started experiencing a variety of issues with our newly built home. They have helped us out locating and repairing gas leaks, repairing and ultimately replacing our defective boiler, rebalancing the distribution of our in-floor heating, and replacing/repairing our rain shower. They also located the source of a leak in our entertainment room ceiling, and facilitate the repair. They will also be installing our back up generator in the spring.

CopperTip came to my house to clear a sewer line blockage and The invoice included a $105 rental of a drain auger. I believe a plumbing contractor should not be renting their tools. That’s why you call a tradesperson.....because they have the tools and knowledge. What’s next Electricians charging for a meter rental or Mechanics charging for wrench rentals? Beware, if you use them, there may be hidden charges.

We’re half an hour outside of Fernie so had hired a local company to install our AC, propane and Propane dryer. After waiting all summer, still not having our propane dryer installed, our AC still not working the way it should, lots of cash and the local company no longer returning calls we tried CopperTip. I’d heard great things about Copper-tip but sadly my experience was the opposite to good. The job was done so below standard I had to get another company in town to come & complete it properly. Reached out numerous times to discuss the issues I had with the service I received & heard nothing back. The receptionist answering the phone was great, the 4 times I spoke to her but the owner clearly doesn’t care that much once he has your money.

Copper Tip was responsive and quick. It was Thanksgiving weekend and no one was answering on call services. Copper Tip answered and came immediately. They were professional and courteous. Explained in detail our issues and were happy to walk us through why it happened. We required a follow up service to switch out our plumbing under the sink and they came quickly and had it done. I would not hesitate in recommending Copper Tip to anyone.

Great service, reliable prompt. Have taken care of my plumbing and heating in Fernie for a few years now. Mike and all the guys are very professional, seem to know their business , always available for "emergencies".
2019- Dec 28- Once again Copper Tip have provided great professional service . Furnace had quit Dec 26 we came in to a cold house- contacted Chuck from CopperTip and he was here first thing next morning (we had chosen to wait until morning- house was a safe cool 14 degrees). Able to get a part by evening from Carrier depot- Chuck was back before 9 am today, cheerful, professional

When it comes to a small community Mike and Christie and the whole Copper Tip crew go above and beyond. We have had nothing but ongoing support and service from CopperTip. To the comment below... I DO NOT believe that Copper Tip would EVER enter a property without permission! I know their processes and if they were asked to respond to a no heat service call they would only respond with the best intentions and to solve the problem.

Copper Tip entered my premises without consent and damaged my property in the process. Then even knowing that my wife and I are expecting our first child next week and are low on finance, charged us an hour to turn on the furnace, even though their website says they give quotes before repairs are done. Please don't support this company. I will be filing criminal charges and a complaint with the BBB.
