Established in 2012, Ionic Electrical Contracting Inc. is a licensed and insured electrical contractor (ECRA/ESA license #7009315). The company is owned and operated by experienced and reliable master electrician Stephane St. Denis, who keeps quality workmanship and fair pricing in mind.
Many outdated fuse panels have worn out/burnt out terminals which could be dangerous. Also, An electrical panel upgrade could save you money on your insurance premium. You may also consider a complete service upgrade to 200 amps. This service upgrade increases the total power capacity of your electrical system and is a great feature to show off if you ever plan to sell your home.

Make sure you read the fine print on your estimate. They estimated the work to be done at $141 and the invoice was $416. Not even in the same ballpark. The estimate does not take materials and the permit they need to purchase into account. It does mention this on the estimate, but I thought this was pretty misleading. Guess I needed to read the fine print. Otherwise they were quite pleasant and responsive, which I appreciated (hence the 2 starts instead of 1). But they really should review how they calculate estimates. They should include materials and permits on the estimate in my opinion.
