This company put in a water heater on behalf of NB Power. They showed up with a heater in a broken box, not identified by vehicle or cards. They left our home without checking to see if everything works. The toilet won't fill with water and once we reached them they said we needed to fix it ourselves with a new valve. NB Power was no help. Terrible service, terrible communication! Will never use this company and do not recommend!

They are the contractor for NB Power to replace water tanks. I have DIRT in my hot water and the tank needs to be replaced. They don't consider this an emergency, and refuse to replace the tank until May 26th. So I am supposed to bath, wash dishes, and do laundry in dirty water for 2 months????? Unacceptable.

Called NB power about my hot water tank leaking at 530 pm. Young technician from ARE Plumbing called me back within half an hour. He was at my house by 630 and has the new tank installed by 730. I didnt catch his name but he was very polite and professional and I am so impressed and happy with the service provided both by them and Nbpower this evening

NB Power needs to find a new company. 2 days after the the tech was at my house, I tried again to get a hot water tank. The girl on the phone was rude and extremely unhelpful. She didn't even offer a solution to try & help me. Would not recommend this company to anyone. I'm getting my own tank with a different company. Lazy & unprofessional. The tech was at my house for less then 10 mins to tell me he couldn't install the tank without me tearing down a wall. I had a contractor there at the same time, who was willing to help, but the guy had left. Didn't tell me he was leaving, he was just gone

Do you want to be rescheduled 15 minutes after setting up an appointment? Better yet, do you want to wait around all day taking unpaid time off work only for them to not have time that day? It gets better. Do you want to pay money for something that should be FREE? NB Power installed my water tank, and now they're saying it wasn't installed right. Whos problem is that? Mine. They want a shut off valve connected to it, which costs me money. The plumber even said he was sick and tired of the company! Poor guy says he takes bits and pieces of copper pipe every day in his tool box and brings it in

Called NB Power to have my Hot water tank replaced as it stopped working. Note that I called after first checking the power supply. Gentleman from ARE plumbing called looking to reschedule just after setting up the appointment. After telling him I needed my water today he grudgingly showed up. He then said the fuses looked old and it was inaccessible because there was an empty box on the way and left. Most unprofessional service I have ever received, did not want to do the job to begin with and found the first excuse to leave the job unfinished. If ARE plumbing shows up ask for someone else that

Today has bee a busy day in our basement. An independent contractor noticed that our hot water tank was starting to leak and strongly urged immediate attention. One quick call to Nb Power resulted in SAME day service by ARE plumbing. Quick prompt and friendly service from a very courteous young Jeremy, I hope his employer knows how well he represents them. I have had A.R.E. plumbers in my home on more then one occasion and I cannot say how happy I have been with the service I received from all of the staff. NB Power advised me when calling into the call center that my water heater was over 15 years old and eligible to be changed. Upon arrival the plumber had noticed that my shut off valve was leaking and needed to be replaced. They installed a new shut off valve at a very reasonable rate and put my new water heater in. The plumber went above and beyond to keep me informed. I had such an amazing experience that I called the company again about 3 weeks

Thought my water tank was leaking so NB Power sent the call to A.R.E. plumbing. I received the call from their office within an hour, within 2 hours I had an appt booked that same night. A plumber by the name of Rob showed up and he was fantastic. Unfortunately I had a clog backup into the pan where the tank is located. He didn't have to change it but regardless he gave me great, friendly and knowledgable service. I think the company is very lucky to have him and I wouldnt hesitate to hire them privatly if needed- because of Rob. They say that everyone will re-tell a bad experience over and over

They send someone from A.R.E. plumbing to replace it. He wasn't able to do the job because of the piping that was in the way. I had a plumber here last week to reroute all piping.
Then I called NB Power for another service call. They had A.R.E. Plumbing to call me to book an appointment. The first thing the dispatcher told me is how busy they are... Then she couldn't send anyone that day, I can understand.
The next day the technician came in and refused to do the job

I asked NB Power to come and replace my water heater because it was due to be replaced. They contacted their local plumbers in the Moncton area and in turn ARE Plumbing called me and set up an apt. A guy showed up (Samuel) and replaced the old tank. I didn't get a chance to check his job so my fault, he was on his way. A few months later I was cleaning the area and noticed that the water heater was on a big slant, so it was far from being level. Looking at it closer I noticed that the 2x4s that he put on the bottom of the tank were not adjusted properly so it caused the tank to be higher

This has got to be the worst company I have ever dealt with! My water tank broke which I rent from nbpower , I called nbpower to have it repaired they sent a guy out Named Chris to look at it he said he couldn't fix it because there was no shut off valve and that it would be 70$ for him to do it and he said he didn't want to do it to get someone… else to do it it would be cheaper anyway!! So my son told me what the guy said so I called a.r.e plumbing to see why he wouldn't do the job and she said ( her name is Cheryl) did he have the money to pay for it and I said yes.
