We are designers and project management consultants for commercial and residential landscape architecture projects. Our core team includes landscape designers, landscape architects and horticulturists. Based on the individual needs of a project, we combine our services with sub-consultants who include engineers, interior designers, and architects.
We also have on-going relationships with a select list of independent contractors who we call upon to price and construct our designs. Our goal is to inspire our clientele with outstanding design innovation while providing a practical approach to project management. We conduct an initial input and brainstorming session with the Client to assess individual needs and to spark new ideas.
Based on the outcome of our first session, we produce preliminary colour plans and three-dimensional renderings to communicate our design intent. We then review our preliminary concept drawings with the client and based on their input move on to stage 2.

As Founding Member, Kent Ford brings twenty seven years of landscape architecture related experience to the group. Kent's relationship with landscape design began during his formative years growing up in Markham, Ontario. His father, a school principal, encouraged Kent's horticultural and construction interests while at the same time his mother, a successful artist, cultivated Kent's budding creative abilities through painting and sketching.
Professional, on time, within the agreed budget, and as close to the agreed design as realistically possible. I couldn't have asked for more. The alleyway was a sea of weeds with pressure treated steps and a gravel pathway. Our view from the living room was our neighbour's raccoon infested shed. Kent added the lucite panels, stone steps, and a covered dining area to create privacy and add function and beauty.
The Condominium Corporation under my management obtained a comprehensive exterior revitalization plan from Kent Ford Design Group and the Board was very impressed. Kent and his team were a joy to work with providing guidance and education all through the design process. For either an immediate or long term plan I would confidently recommend Kent Ford Design Group.
As I walked toward your installation at the Flower snd Garden show this past year I was struck by the incredible scent of lillies. As I made my way up the stone steps, I lost all sense of scale and felt like I was in a park. Trees, "fields" of flowers, and a wood and stone gazebo at the top of the "hill" shocked me how in such a small area you created such a tableau.
