Main Floor Carpets started in 1985 with Ken Straarup and Stan Foreman being the owners and has been a local company for the last 32 years. Towards the end of 2014 Stan Foreman retired after years of dedication and growing the company with Ken Straarup to what it is today.

We had a wonderful experience all around and absolutely recommend Main Floor Carpets! Erin was amazing with helping us choose the perfect carpet for our home and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Dan was our installer and we could not have asked for more, he was very professional, friendly and definitely knew his stuff. Will use Main Floor Carpets again and encourage anyone looking for flooring done right to use them as well.

Thank you so much to Erin for helping us with our vinyl floor choice, we went in with a different style in mind and after Erin showed us a few different samples we were able to find the perfect flooring. The 2 gentleman, Eric and Andrew, who did our installation were great, kept everything so neat and tidy. We love our new floor and would not hesitate to recommend Main Floor to anyone.

I was in Medicine Hat helping my son Reno his house. Met the owner Jason at the warehouse to get a few supplies. I didn’t make a big purchase but the guy was super helpful and gave great advice. If I was looking for any flooring needs I would not hesitate to go see these guys! Great people with awesome service! Just good old fashioned business practice...

From getting our flooring measured to having it installed, every person we dealt with was genuinely concerned with our satisfaction. There was some miscommunication between the store and the warehouse which resulted in us having to select different carpet than the one we had originally put a deposit down for BUT Joe was very good about finding us a more than suitable replacement as soon as possible! Glitches happen, it's how they're handled that counts and we definitely recommend these guys!

We recently purchased tile and flooring through Main Floor Carpets to renovate our entire home. They had an extensive selection to choose from, I was able to find exactly what I wanted for every room in our house. Rachel was extremely helpful in assisting us to find everything we needed.
